About Brunswick

Brunswick is an inner northern metropolitan electorate with an area of 15 sq kms. It includes
Brunswick, Brunswick East, Brunswick West, Coonans Hill, Moreland and parts of Coburg and Fitzroy North.

Seat Background

Brunswick was created in 1904, abolished in 1955, re-established in 1976, abolished again in 1992, and revived in 2002, when it was won by the ALP's Carlo Carli with 78% of the two party preferred vote.
