Maroubra By-election 2005 : Home

The Australian Labor Party return to the Maroubra seat with candidate Michael Daley. Daley is a 39 year-old solicitor and councillor for the Randwick City Council. He won with 58.31 per cent of the primary vote, which is a drop by 6 per cent since the last election. In response, he said: "It's not an outstanding result, but it's a good one."
