Situated in Melbourne's south-east it covers 68 sq km including the suburbs of Dandenong Nth, Noble Park Nth, Mulgrave, Wheelers Hill and parts of Clayton, Dandenong, Springvale, Noble Park, Glen Waverley, and Notting Hill.
Commercial activities include warehousing and light engineering.
Seat Background
First proclaimed in 1955 it is named after Australian Prime Minister Lord Stanley Melbourne Bruce and has been represented by a number of prominent Liberal Party politicians including Sir Billy Mackie Snedden. Current representative is Alan Griffin who won the seat for the Labor Party in 1996 after a redistribution.
