Johannes Herrmann
The Australian Greens candidate for Cowan
Candidate for Cowan
Why I am standing
I am running in order to make a positive difference to Australia. I believe that the Greens are the only party running who will do this.
(Statement provided by candidate)
Important issues in my electorate
The congestion of the northern railway line would normally be a state issue, but the Greens are calling for some of the Federal funds promised for roads in WA to go towards public transportation instead, including a light rail network that reaches suburbs such as Girrawheen and Alexander Heights and links them to the existing rail network.

Important policy documents
Our policies are at http://greens.org.au/election/policy.php
Especially applicable to Cowan are the elimination of Work Choices, more funding for public schooling, and better conditions for working parents.
