Brad Scott
The Australian Greens candidate for Bowman
Company Director
Why I am standing
I ran as candidate in the State election last year and believe that voters should have the opportunity to vote Greens in every election. I decided to run for the Federal election to further promote our great policies. I also want to show the electorate that we are not a one-issue party, but a responsible and viable alternative for government.

Important issues in my electorate
The health care system, especially with regard to elderly care will be a big issue in the Bowman electorate. We need more beds, residents and carers to cope with the number of elderly in the district. Public transport also needs upgrading and co-ordinating with large numbers of people moving to the area yet no plan for rail or light rail on the horizon. The effects of climate change and the negative effects of over development on the environment also needs urgent attention before all our wildlife (especially koalas) disappear.
(Statement provided by candidate)
Important policy documents
1. Climate change policy based on agreed science 2. Health policies that cover the elderly, carers, public hospitals and young people 3. Education policies including free university education 4. GST-free public transport solutions including light rail, rail, buses and water transport. 5. No uranium mining and no nuclear future
