Mark White
Family First Party candidate for Brisbane
Why I am standing
1. The loss of fundamental conditions with Work choices. Only Family First has put forth legislation to give workers back their public holidays, meal breaks, penalty rates and overtime and to protect their redundancy payments. Everyone else is just talking.
2. Housing Affordability affects so many residents of all ages. The Aussie dream is under treat and only Family First has put forth positive plan to assist first home buyer by helping to put $20,000 into their pockets over the first 5 years to help with the repayments.
3. Environment and climate change is a genuine concern. Again, only Family First has a sensible and practical approach to ensure that Australian is an actively involved in a common sense solution. This including signing the Kyoto agreement.

Important issues in my electorate
Housing Affordability has become such an issue to the young who want to purchase, right through to our mature residents who worry about their children and grandchildren’s ability to afford their own home.
