Mick Gallagher

Independent candidate for Berowra

Why I am standing

I am a True Independent candidate and not aligned with any Party. I am ana Vietnam Veteran, former Mayor of Hornsby Shire and retired school teacher.
The residents should have a parliamentarian who is representing the electorate, not representing the party which is not democracy but gang rule.
Lets make the Berowra electorate a marginal seat to attract federal funding.
Number all 7 boxes according to your choice but I suggest you put the major parties last.

(Statement provided by candidate)

Important issues in my electorate

No tunnel for Pennant Hills Rd and no motorway through Galston.
A second crossing of the Hawkesbury River.
Helo emergency landing facilities in remote areas.
More parking facilities in the Hornsby CBD and other commercial/shopping areas.

(Statement provided by candidate)

Important policy documents

To attract Federal funding in the areas of Health, Education, Infrastructure, and Crime prevention.
To ensure our parliamentry and legal systems are accountable to the people and uphold truth, liberty, justice and a fair go for all.
That trial by jury is a right in all law courts.
A fair taxation system for all. Free public transport and no increase in the GST.
