Andrew Lamb

Independent candidate for Moreton

Information Officer for a leading Christian apologetics ministry

Why I am standing

I am running to make an unashamed stand for the need for our country's laws and our society's mores to be based on biblical Christian morality. There is a God, and as our Creator He sets the rules and will hold us accountable. We are not evolved animals free to invent our own selfish and self-serving standards of what is right and wrong.

Important issues in my electorate

With our country's unsustainably low birth-rate and progressive abandonment of our Christian heritage we are heading towards social anarchy and cultural extinction. We need to stop basing our laws on secular humanism, and base them instead on biblical Christian ethics, which provide the best hope for a healthy and happy, peaceful and prosperous, caring and cohesive society - for everyone, Christian and non-Christian alike.

I'm aware of local Moreton issues (road woes, housing hassles, etc.) but far more Moreton residents are preoccupied by personal issues (despair, addiction, breakdown) arising from our society's lack of Christian moral grounding.

Important policy documents

Abolishing abortion; promoting marriage; discouraging promiscuity and hedonistic lifestyles. Ensuring that evolution is taught properly, 'warts and all', not indoctrinated through long-discredited and fraudulent 'evidences'. If we teach our children they are just random mutant animals, no wonder so many then grow up to behave like animals.
