Why I am standing

My name is Louise Kedwell and I am standing as the Candidate for One Nation in the seat of Chifley. I was born in Blacktown and I am 35 years old.

I studied acting at the Q Theatre and graduated at Three Stage Theatre Company in Penrith. I work in the hospitality industry, currently at the Sydney Cricket Ground.

I became involved in Politics because I do not approve of the way our utilities, such as hospitals have been run down, our electricity privatised, our rural sector sacrificed and our nation’s industries sold off to overseas interests.

I am a member of Ausbuy and support 100% Australian owned and made products.

The Major Parties in their time of power have given the people of Australia an insecure future with their theories of Globalisation, deregulation, Free Trade and Tax.

I believe that Prime Minister Howard’s “work choices” are unfair on working families. One Nation believes in fair union representation for workers rights and entitlements, while still allowing business to remain functional and financially viable.

Under the Labor-Liberal policy of economic rationalism, casual and part time Jobs have taken the place of full time employment. One Nation believes in re- industrialisation as essential to Australia’s security and prosperity.

House affordability has become such that new couples have to put off starting a family. Other issues that rank highly on One Nation’s agenda are Childcare affordability and availability and we do not have enough water for our population.

Australia needs Tax reform. When the GST was introduced, all other taxes were to be abolished. This has not happened. One Nation offers to the Australian people the Electronic Debit Tax, as an alternative to the GST.

Our Immigration policy is the same as Pauline Hanson’s. One Nation has warned Australians about Multiculturalism, it is destroying our culture and identity.

I believe Climate Change is not man made the temperatures have always fluctuated and have been much higher in the past. The truth is Climate Change is about global trading.

The major parties and the Greens want to carbon tax you and raise your cost of living by making electricity unaffordable.

One Nation is more concerned about toxins in our environment than an alarmist view based on poor science.

Too often, politicians, after an election, never again ask their electorate for consensus or opinion. Too often, politicians are trapped into following the ‘party line’.

The ‘party line’ is prompted by foreign persons, multinational corporate companies and anybody but Australian citizens. Ask any current politician where he or she got the idea to privatise all Australian-owned facilities.

Ask them where did the idea to sell off Telstra come from. Ask them who promoted the trashing of all Australian Manufacturing and Agricultural Industries with the ‘Lima Agreement’

One Nation insists its candidates REPRESENT THE ELECTORATE FIRST. Now, isn’t this an interesting difference; CONSULT the electorate; DO the bidding of the electorate, even if CONTRARY to ONE NATION Policy. Do the WILL OF THE PEOPLE.

I am a true, patriotic Australian, if elected, will follow the tradition of ONE NATION and will REPRESENT the electors of Chifley.

Truth and People Representation values used by Pauline, are carried on as the overriding POLICY of ONE NATION, even after Pauline has moved on.

One Nation will fight for all commonwealth utilities to be taken back under the ownership of the Australian people.

It's all up to you if you want Australia to reclaim it's former integrity and pride. If you want to make the government face up to their responsibilities and demand genuine financial Bank, tax reviews and an end to the privatisation of Australian Essential Services.

If you want the removal of world parity pricing and excise taxes from locally produced liquid fuels.

If you see the need for a modern highly trained and equipped Defence force supported by a strong manufacturing base.

If you understand that we have to protect our primary Industries against deregulation, Globalism and treaties that destroy them.

Put me, LOUISE KEDWELL first in the seat of Chifley.
