Geoff Peet
Christian Democratic Party candidate for Hume
Deputy Principal in K - 12 School
Why I am standing
I deal with young people in families in need of support. I am tired of government more focussed on electorally populer projects rather than meeting the real needs of our society with a long term view towards the future.

Important issues in my electorate
The outworking of the above has a great impact in the local area. Very concerned about supporting local farmers as they compete in the market place and by allowing them to manage their farm in a responsible manner.
(Statement provided by candidate)
Important policy documents
Balance - that's what's missing in the campaign
Protecting workers AND small businesses Funding Public Education AND Catholic / Private Education Looking after the environment AND the economy Maximising services AND minimising taxes (not to buy votes) Dealing with the issues of Justice AND mercy
