A seat in Sydney's outer western suburbs it takes in parts of Blacktown and the whole of the Mt Druitt Public Housing Estate. Other suburbs are Minchinbury, Rooty Hill and St Mary's.

Seat Background

It was first proclaimed in 1968 and named after former Prime Minister, Joe Chifley. The Labor Party has held this seat continuously since its creation.
