Why I am standing
My family demonstrated to me the satisfaction of helping others. I see it as my responsibility to do what I can to build a better Australia by helping all variety of families.
I believe my background has gifted me with the ability to understand, relate and represent this culturally diverse electorate. I am truly Australian and at the same time I embrace and value my Asian heritage.
I am confident that the policies and leadership of the Family First Party with its strong values and high standard of integrity will continue to produce sensible, innovative and compassionate legislation that will truly protect and strengthen Australian families.

Important policy documents
Family First supports income splitting, tax deductibility of children’s school expenses, more aged services and will oppose further liberalisation of drug laws.
The Family First Housing Affordability Policy is to allow First-Home buyers to be able to purchase their first home with a 'withdrawal' from their superannuation funds.
Family First are calling upon the Federal Government to establish a Royal Commission into Child Abuse as an urgent priority. We also want to establish a Families Commission to promote and protect families, including children.
Family First will investigate ways to reduce asylum seeker detention periods to less than 90 days. Supervised, low-medium security hostel accommodation that provides training, health services & interaction with the wider community.
