Robert Muston

The Australian Greens candidate for Fisher

Why I am standing

What shade of GREEN are you ?

The GREENS offer an alternative to a system that is obviously not working.

An example is the Federal legislation in place to protect or Flora and Fauna, and yet we cannot stop Woolworths building a supermarket with the corner of the building built into the Obi Obi Creek right above a dozen Platypus burrows in Maleny. The building will cause the local library to flood to a depth of 2 metres because it obstructs the Creek. Change is needed NOW to make State and Local authorities adhere to this legislation.

Important issues in my electorate

Drugs: Making drug addicts into criminals and throwing them into jail rather than trying to find a way to get them back into society is the current Libs policy. The GREENS will investigate ways to give these fellow AUSTRALIANS the help they need.
Abortion: The Right Wing so called Christian "Family First Party" wants to ban legal abortion clinics and re-establish backyard "coat-hanger" operations. The real answer to this problem is education and counselling, not making these people into Criminals. Visit my website http://www.muston.com for more information.
